About HoAGDP

The project commences in Isiolo, a town, serving as the headquarter of the vast Isiolo County and a major transport center for the region. It is strategically positioned to connect the road to other major highways and transportation networks in the region. From Isiolo town, the road traverses arid and semi-arid lands, characterized by dry and challenging terrain. These areas are often sparsely populated and are reliant on pastoralism for livelihoods.

KeNHA

The road connects several small towns and villages, such as Chechelesi/Tuluroba, Gambela, Ndumuru, Bullo, Kachuru, Yaqbarsathi, Kulamawe, Boji, Kambi Samaki, Eldera/Eldere, Bullo 2, Barkuke, Janju and Modogashe, a border town of Isiolo and Garissa County. These settlements host different communities each with their own unique cultural and religious beliefs. Moreover, the route passes through environmentally sensitive areas, including wildlife habitats, which require careful planning and conservation efforts to minimize its impact on the ecosystem.
